Applicable Law – Competent Jurisdiction

The User agrees to seek an amicable resolution of any dispute with MILLIMAGES before initiating any legal action.

In case of failure, disputes arising from the formation, interpretation, or execution of these General Terms of Use shall be submitted to the competent courts in Paris, including summary proceedings or urgent applications, notwithstanding multiple defendants or third-party claims.

For professional Users, disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Paris Commercial Court.

Objection to Text and Data Mining by Artificial Intelligence

The Site, including all audiovisual works and content (text, graphics, symbols, signals, sounds, images, etc.), is protected by intellectual property law and may not be used without prior written authorization from MILLIMAGES.

If necessary, MILLIMAGES hereby objects to any digital copying or reproduction of these audiovisual works, content, and/or any of their components protected by copyright (text, graphics, symbols, signals, sounds, images, etc.) for the purpose of text and data mining, particularly by an Artificial Intelligence (AI) system, as defined in Articles L.122-5-3, III, and L.211-3, 8° of the French Intellectual Property Code (CPI), resulting from Directive (EU) 2019/790 of April 17, 2019.

Article R.122-28 of the French Intellectual Property Code states that this objection "does not require justification and may be expressed by any means. For content made available to the public online, this objection may notably be expressed through machine-readable processes, including metadata, and through the general terms of use of a website or service."

It is recalled that in the course of its activities, MILLIMAGES may authorize its contracting parties and/or online press services to use the audiovisual works, content, and/or any of their components protected by copyright (text, graphics, symbols, signals, sounds, images, etc.) available on the Site, strictly to the extent necessary for the authorized exploitation.
